Set of six green glass and silver liqueur glasses

SOLD

A gorgeous set of very stylish green glasses with 'shot' sized bowls raised on elegant german silver stems. This fabulous and glamourous set was made by Wilhelm Binder in Schwäbish-Gmünd, the centre of silver and goldsmithing in Germany, in around 1910 or a little earlier, towards the end of the Art Nouveau/jungensdtill movement. The hallmarks are clear on the foot of each stem.

They are unbelievable smart and would be fantastic with a little sorbet between course, or most likely at the end of a delicious meal with a shot of something strong and warming. Alternatively they would look fabulous on show: so refined, so stylish. They maybe small in stature (approx 5" tall), but they come with an impact out of all proportion.
