Multi-drawer counter-top chest

A very nice multi-drawer unit, with a chromed top. I beleve it was most likely a dentists counter-top unit, dating from perhaps the 50s or 60s. It is veneered in blonde walnut, and the drawers are nice and long; plenty of room for those horrible instruments of torture favoured by dentists in those days.
The top is chromed; easily wiped clean and disinfected. I believe it has been refurbished (not by me). All the drawer handles have been updated with nice brass ones, and the heavy metal top refitted with brass fittings too. It is very solid and weighs heavily (relatively for its size). 

Nowadays would make a fabulious kitchen unit, or in a special workshop chest. Fabulous piece.

It measures about 68cms wide x 31 deep and is 57.5 tall. There is a gap under the unit, and it features 15 deep drawers all made with dovetail joints: this is a well-made piece.
