Early GPlan 1960s Brasilia Sideboard in excellent condition

SOLD

This sideboard is a real looker: a beauty. It measures about 6'9" (2.06m) long and, as you can see in the images features a double door shelved cupboard at one end, and a drop front cupboard with half shelf at the other, and these are separated by four drawers the top one of which is divided into four sections for cutlery.
This gorgeous piece is from the Brasilia range for GPlan, model 4058, designed by Victor Bramwell Williams and manufactured from 1964-1971. It is heavily influenced by Danish design and quality of manufacture. It bears the gold, earliest, GPlan (E Gomme) stamp in the drawer.
