Victorian bamboo framed dinner gong

A very good Victorian Bamboo dinner gong, with beater/stick, in excellent condition and with a very satisfactory booming note.
The diameter of the bronze gong is about 39cms, and the whole stands about 107cms tall
The great feature of this gong, and the thing that sets it apart and makes it quite rare, is that the frame is made of bamboo. It is vey strong and solid, no creaking joints, and time has turned it a gorgeous dark colour. It would look fatalistic in virtually any room, from a modern mid-century bright and airy space, to a dark hall. It s a fabulous piece, an heirloom for generations to come
