A sterling silver ring box 1925, Yeovil connections

SOLD

This is a charming ring box, in good antique condition with the odd small ding, not surprising considering it is anticipating its 100th birthday in a year or two. It is completely original, including the silk within and is hallmarked, although these are a touch rubbed, and also stamped with the retailers name "Clement White, Yeovil" as well as labelled on the base.

It has a lot going for it, this little box, made by Adie Brothers and hallmarked for Birmingham in 1925. It also benefits from a blank cartouche so could be engraved if required, or just left blank for future generations. It stands well on its three legs, has a gilt finish to the inside of the lid and rim, and is a lovely heirloom in the making.

Diameter approx 7cms, height approx 4cms
