19thC Giltwood, Gesso and Marble Console Table

This is lovely. A fine country house piece.
It is a giltwood and marble console table, probably English and 19thC. The giltwood is all intact and beautifully carved and decorated, with some losses to the gesso, but in generally complete condition. The uneven swag to a central urn sitting below the (possibly) later shaped marble top supported on a very decorative frieze with swags. The turned legs reeded and carved. Structurally sound.
A very decorative piece that would look wonderful beneath a suitable pier mirror in a large hall perhaps, as you see it here, displaying a sculpture, or with a large vase of flowers.
