Gilt and hardstone large fob

This is an oversize watch fob, made to hang on the end of a watch chain or Albert. It doubles as a seal and in many examples you would find the stone has been engraved with a family crest or monogram. On this example the stone is smooth and has never been engraved.
Nowadays they are more often seen as fashion accessories and this large one looks great on a necklace. No hallmarks.

About 38mm tall and the stone measures approx 25 x 21mm.
