James Laver and Henry Rox collectable children's book Tommy Apple

   Tommy Apple and His Adventures in Banana-land as 'told' by James Laver and 'pictured' by Henry Rox.
   This first edition was published by Jonathan Cape in 1935 it has patterned linen cloth boards. A bit of a stain visible on the front - see images - along with corner bumps.
   Internally it is nice and clean with a modest front fly inscription "Liz from Grannie Christmas 1935".
   The page are untrimmed along the bottom and some of the longer ones have a bit of shelf damage, creasing mainly. The top edges are tinged dark pink and there is the odd mark occasionally but nothing substantial enough to note separately: overall good to fine, and highly collectable.
